CBSE releases JEE Main 2017 “merit list”, 4 students of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre in Top 100 (All India Ranks)

Today, CBSE announced the marks of nearly 10 Lakhs engineering aspirants who wrote JEE Main 2017 on 2nd April, 2017 (offline format) and on 8th & 9th April, 2017 (online format). Top 2.2 Lakh students will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2017, which is the gateway to pursue engineering in IIT’s & ISM. It is scheduled on 21st May 2017. Those who could not make it to the 2.2 Lakh group will stand a chance to pursue engineering from NIT’s, IIIT’s, Central & State Funded Engineering Colleges. Under these colleges, more than 40,000 seats across 100+ colleges will be on the offering based on JEE Main performance. In the interim JEE Advanced 2017 online registration begins from 28th April and ends on 2nd May 2017.

 

 

This year the cut-off in JEE Main 2017 is 81 marks out of total, 360 marks. Mr. Partha Halder, Director & Centre Head of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre said that “overall students of Delhi have performed quite well compared to previous years”. Those who cleared the cut-off are now eligible for JEE Advanced 2017, and will go all out to do well.

 

This year, 4 students from FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre have secured All India Rank within TOP 100 which is highest from a single centre in Delhi/NCR of any institute. Top 8 students of FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre secured marks above 300 out of total marks of 360. Responding to a question, Mr. Halder said, “Securing a rank in Top 100 is supposed to be major achievements in a competitive exam like JEE Main. Having 4 such students from one single centre in Delhi is indeed a very proud moment for all of us.”

  4. Bhavya Bagla                                JEE Main Marks (304/360)

All the above students were enrolled in Long term classroom program ie 2 years and above.

Kushagra secured 330 marks, a resident of Rani Bagh while sharing his thoughts, said “My dream is to study at the IIT’s and having worked towards it for some time now, I was confident of scoring well in JEE Main.” Lakshay a resident of Pitampura said, “The teachers at FIITJEE worked diligently on our concepts, making sure we know what we are studying inside out.”

 

Kushagra has been consistently performing in all competitive exams from Class VII onwards viz Junior Science Olympiad (World Topper), JSTSE, NTSE, KVPY (Delhi State Topper and AIR 3) & other Olympiad. Even Lakshay cleared few prominent competitive exams like NTSE, KVPY etc.
